Wedding invitation printing

Wedding invitation printing covers save-the-dates, invitations, RSVP cards and on-the-day pieces. We print digitally in-house, which suits the quantities most weddings order and means a reprint for late additions is quick rather than a whole new run. Send your guest count and any styling you have already chosen and we will quote the suite together.

What invitations cost

Invitations run from about $0.50 to $10 each inc GST, and quantity is the biggest lever — the per-unit price drops sharply as the run grows. There is no minimum order: we will print a single invitation if that is genuinely all you need, though the per-unit cost is much higher at that end. Stock, size, finish, and white ink on dark or coloured card all move the number.

What a full invitation suite includes

An invitation is rarely just one card. A typical suite is the invitation itself, a details or information card covering accommodation and dress code, and an RSVP card. Save the dates come months earlier, and on-the-day pieces — menus, place cards, table numbers, order of service — come later. We print all of it, and printing it together is what keeps the stock and the colour consistent across the set.

When to order

Most couples post invitations 8 to 10 weeks before the day, and longer when guests are travelling or coming from overseas. Working backwards from that: our production is 2 to 3 business days to dispatch from artwork approval, plus freight, plus a few days of proofing back and forth.

So talk to us around three months before the wedding and nothing is rushed. Save the dates usually go out 8 to 12 months ahead, so those are an earlier conversation again. If you are already tighter than that, ring us rather than guessing — same day printing is available on artwork approved before 1pm, and we would rather tell you honestly whether your date works.

Guest names printed, not handwritten

We print with variable data, so a hundred invitations carrying a hundred different names is one job rather than a hundred. There is no per-name setup cost, and a late addition to the guest list is a text edit rather than a reprint. The same applies to place cards and table numbers when you get to that stage.

Matching your invitations to the rest of the day

This is the part a stationery brand cannot do. Because we also print your welcome sign, seating chart, place cards and table numbers on the same floor, your invitation and the signage guests see on the day can share the same typeface, the same colours and the same stock.

Order from three suppliers and you get three near-misses — slightly different whites, a typeface that is close but not the same. Send us the whole list and it arrives as one set.

Already have a designer?

Send their file and we will print it. A good share of our invitation work is trade — we print for stationers and stylists every week, we do not put our name on it, and your designer will never hear from us unless you want them to. Print-ready means a PDF with fonts outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size and 3mm bleed, and we will tell you before we start if anything needs adjusting.
