Same Day & Rush Printing in Melbourne

Sometimes the date moves, the artwork lands late, or something arrives damaged. Because we print and cut on our own floor, we can often turn a job around the same day.

How same day printing actually works here

Same day is possible because nothing is brokered out. Artwork, print, cut and finishing all happen in one building, so there is no courier leg between suppliers eating half a day. What it depends on is straightforward: what the job is, whether the artwork is print-ready, and what is already on the machines.

Call first. Don't put a rush order through the form and hope — ring 0415 743 691 and we'll tell you immediately whether it's achievable today, tomorrow, or not at all. An honest no is more use to you than a maybe.

The cut-off is 1pm

Artwork approved and in our hands by 1pm gives us enough of the day to print, cut, finish and pack. After that it becomes a next-morning job rather than a same-day one. Same day carries a surcharge — the amount depends on what has to move around your job, so we quote it on the call rather than pretending there's a flat rate.

What makes a rush job possible

• Print-ready artwork — a PDF with fonts outlined, images at 150 dpi at final size, 3mm bleed. If we have to design it first, that's a separate step with its own timeline.
• Standard materials — anything we hold in stock. A specialty substrate we have to bring in can't be same day.
• Straightforward finishing — flat print and simple cuts move fastest. Complex fabrication doesn't compress well.
• Early in the day — the earlier the file lands, the more of the day is left to use.

Full 3D builds, routed and assembled structures, and anything needing a material we don't hold. That isn't a matter of willingness — glue and paint have their own timelines, and rushing them produces something you wouldn't want at your event.

Standard turnaround, for everything else

If your date isn't on fire, standard production is 2 to 3 business days to dispatch from artwork approval. That clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you first enquire, so approving artwork quickly is the single biggest lever you control.
